Family Tradition

One of my many favorite family traditions is the Sunday after Thanksgiving. On that day, Nativity B.V.M. has Christmas for Tots after church and we get a chance to see Santa Claus, decorate cookies, make Christmas crafts, listen to Christmas music (provided by Mom and some of her friends), write a letter to Santa and eat donuts/ bagels and drink some juice/ milk. After that social, we head to the farm to change our clothes and get ready for our Christmas tree hunt! This year we had a beautiful day!!

The kids are always excited to get home and decorate the tree. They need to wait until Dad and I get the tree standing and then I put the lights on. After that was all done, away they all went and before you know it the tree was lighted and full of decorations! Each year, they are getting better at separating the ornaments out all over the tree instead of just one side. With eight hands decorating, it didn't take long! They were all excited to show Tessa the tree when she woke up from her nap! Tessa enjoys looking at the lights!
