Side Walk Chalk Contest

For the last three years, Emma and Max (Elly was busy this year.) participated in the sidewalk chalk drawing contest down on 4th and Bluff. Each year it's fun to see all the different designs and artist participating. Josie, Anna and I went down while Emma and Max were drawing. It was a beautiful day! Josie especially enjoyed the free cotton candy! Both Emma and Max did a great job on their drawings!

Nerf Guns

Since the time Father Alan came over the play the Wii, they wanted to know if he liked to play nerf guns. Of course the answer was YES! One Sunday later afternoon I get a text, "Nerf?". Twenty minutes later, Father was at the house. We first played outside; Teams were Terry, Connor and Josie against Father Alan, Emma and myself. Karley, Tessa and Anna were neutral. After awhile of running around outside playing, we took the game downstairs of the house. Teams then changed. It was a great time and we ended with some fresh apple bread and ice cream. The kids are already asking about when can he come to the farm again. Father told them they need to let him know when they are going out! 

Motorcycle Girls

I noticed this day that the girls were playing in the bathroom for awhile. They would come out and get some tape, paper and markers. Finally, after about 30 minutes, I figured out what they were playing: motorcycle girls. They were drawing tattoos and taping them on their arms, face, hands, legs and feet. Their motorcycle was the toilet! As you see below, Josie is going for a motorcycle ride. 

Being herself

Tessa brings a smile to our face everyday! It could be because of what she said, is wearing, face she is making, etc. This September afternoon Tessa wanted her swimsuit on accessorized with some of my necklaces and bracelets, my shoes on and enjoying some DRY spaghetti noodles!

"Body" Paint

Tessa really enjoys painting, especially, herself! Below are some pictures of her enjoying the art of painting! I think we can thank her Godmother/Daycare provider Becky for this with all the fun hand and foot paintings she does with the kids!!!
