WET Sand....

After ALL that rain that we got last night and today, Karley was having a great time playing in the WET sand. By the time she was done playing she had sand from head to toe! Here she is pulling herself up to get down into the really WET and MUDDY stuff!
Sloppy WET muddy sand

Here is what she looked like before she got it ALL over her face!!

After playing in that WET sand, Karley decided she was thirsty and found some rain water on top of the table and decided to take a couple of SLURPS!!

Hula -Hooping

The Easter bunny brought a little gift for each of the kids: Connor got a new kick ball and Karley got a BIG ball the play with. Emma and Josie each got a hula- hoop. Emma has it down and Josie is getting better every day. She is starting to get her hips more into it!!

Easter Morning...finding baskets!

The kids had a great time but a challenging time finding their baskets! Connor found his in his baseball bag, Emma's was in her closet by her shoes and dresses, Josie's was by the dress up clothes and Karley's was by a basket of books.

The day of the Big Race.... And they are off!!

The kids love to have races around the house to see who is the fasted. So on this day Connor made a start and finish line so everyone knew where to cross. The first race was to run around the house three times. The other races consisted of running around the house for how old you were. Connor and Emma did a great job, Josie decided to run half of it but Karley was a trooper; she did complete her two laps!! They had medals ready for all the finishers!!

As Connor and Emma round the house twice Karley was just finishing her first round. I just missed her rounding the corner!

Putting Dishes Away

Karley loves to play in the sliver ware drawer. She even helps put the sliver ware away after they are dried. She knows were all the pieces go. She is becoming a good helper!

Bedtime stories...

This is the usually night time routine of reading stories. Mom is the one who usually reads the stories. Dad likes to lay down and read stories so it's not always the same. They all have their spots to sit and what side of the lap the girls get to sit on. I am not sure where the new baby will get to sit!!!
