Hair Salon

The girls got some new hair accessories for their birthday. This day they were playing Hair Salon. They had a list of about 10 hair styles they could choose from. Emma was the hair stylist, Josie the manager and Karley and me the customers. Below you see the "Flower Petal."

Berning Family Reunion 2013

On July 6, we had a Berning Family reunion at my parents farm. Unoffiicial count was about 115. It was a great day for the kids to run around and play with cousins and adults to socialize and catch up! Here are some highlights from the day!

Here are some highlights from the Summer Birthday Party that was held on July 4 at Ted and Carol Murray's house. Besides enjoy the water, we were also part of the Frentress Lake Fourth of  July parade! It was a great day with family!

Emma turns 10

On June 29, Emma celebrated her 10th birthday. She wanted to have a 10 pancake, take some friends to the farm for the day and a panda present. She got her wish! She invited three friends to the farm for the day and they had a blast playing. (Her friends had never been to a farm before. The kittens were a BIG hit!) Emma wanted Chicken Noodle  soup for supper.

She then ended her birthday night with going to her Grandma and Grandpa Belken's house to watch the East Dubuque Fireworks! She had a great day!

Bath Time

Anna does enjoy her baths. She just never knows who is going to give it to her or help with it! She LOVES to hang out in the warm wate!
