Special News

For those of you who don't know, we are expecting in August! The kids are very excited and I wanted to share what Connor said. We had two friends over for and Connor said, " We have something very special that is going to happen to our family." Then he says, "We are going to have a baby!" I thought it was neat how he thinks it is so special!

Let the Games Begin.....

The kids have been enjoying watching the Olympics and so they started playing Olympics at home. This is called the "Scooter" race with the athletes being Karley and Emma. They race down the hallway into the kitchen then make a sharp turn to the front door for their final stretch! Karley started out well on her new scooter, but Emma soon came from behind! Josie is the Mom cheering for her daughter, Emma. As you seen Emma is excited to be the Gold winner as she jumps up and down with her mom! Before the jumping they gave each other quick hugs! Karley was proud to take the Silver! Notice the Winter Olympic attire with the hats, scarves, and gloves!!

O' Where O' Where is Karley at,,, O 'Where O' Where can she be....

The morning of her birthday Connor wanted to get Karley up, but when he got into the girls room, he couldn't find her. He looked down stairs by Terry, not there, out in the front room, not there. Finally he looked under the bed and look what he found! She has done this a couple of times now and never wakes up in the whole process of falling and rolling under the bed!

Me Help too... Me Help too...

Karley was excited to help make cupcakes for her birthday to take to Becky's house to share with the kids! Of course, her favorite part was licking the utensils at the end!

TWO Minutes....

Emma and Connor got new timers to use for their independent reading. They LOVE them! Along with reading they have found many other ways to use them also. Emma uses hers for timing herself brushing her teeth (Her aunt Kristen would be proud.) The dentist told her to brush for two minutes and that what she does twice a day! Karley has caught on to brushing her teeth, but now she also flosses them too. When it is time to get ready for bed she runs to the drawer and gets out her toothbrush, paste, and floss and comes over to me. Then she tries it all on her own!

Show time

The girls are just relaxing and watching a show. The kids latest favorite cartoon has been "Tom and Jerry." When they get to watch a show Karley just snuggles up next to someone and gets comfy!

Favorite Hat

The hat Karley is wearing is the one she came home from the hospital in 2 years ago. At that time it was too big on her and as you can see it is now to small, but she always wants it on. She'll say, "Mom, hat, hat on!" It doesn't always stay on to well.

Here puppy, puppy...

One of the many favorite things of the kids to play is being a puppy! Here are Karley and Josie being a puppy. Josie is licking water out of a bowl while Karley chops on carrots!
