Valentine Dinner

For Valentines Day supper since Terry and I were going out, we had a pink dinner that consisted of pink heart shaped pancakes, strawberries, strawberry brownies and milk! The girls enjoyed their pink dinner!

Nail polish

Tessa LOVES getting her finger and toe nail painted. Her sisters have started hiding their polish because of how often she wants it done. Although her sisters paint her finger and toe nails often, Connor has now taken over the job most of the time. I have to say he does quite a good job at it!

Bedtime Sleeping

In our house sometimes, you never know where everyone is going to end up sleeping and how they design their sleeping positions. All of them do have regular beds to sleep in but what fun is that?? At least they all get a good nights sleep!

Happy 38th Birthday

I had a great birthday which started breakfast in bed and lots of hugs and kisses from my kids! The day continued with lots of phone calls, emails and messages on Facebook, and singing from my students at school. After school, girls had ballet, we ate supper with some angel food cake and then headed to the Saints Hockey game! Saturday night, the older kids and I went snow shoeing and thenTerry took me to Fried Green Tomatoes in Galena! It was a great weekend!

"Capture"

One Sunday night, the kids were playing "capture." They would take turns tying someone up to a chair and then that person would have to escape and try to catch someone. Then they would switch turns! It was fun to here all the laughing and giggling! They all managed to escape and chase their siblings! Unfortunately, I only got photos of Emma being "captured."

Snow shoeing

Josie came home from a school field trip to Swiss Valley and talked about how much fun it was to go snow shoeing and seeing the nature center. She asked if we could go sometime so that next Saturday Connor, Emma, Josie, Karley and I went snow shoeing. It was a beatuiful day out with fresh snow from the day before. We had never gone before but all really enjoyed it that we went back last Saturday also the Sam and Max. This time we took a different trail and made it to the top of the hill!! They have fun turning it into an adventure! Here are some random pictures from the day.

Jumping Janes

Since Karley had been asking about going to Jumping Janes for about two years, we thought we would go this year for her birthday. It was a great night to go because besides our family being there, there were only a couple other families and so the kids had a great time! There were lots of smiles and laughter! We invited anyone who wanted to join us at the last minute and it was a great turn out! Not only did the kids go down slides, so did Grandpa Berning, Natalie, Matt, Stacy and myself!
